BIV |
Best in Variety |
depends on the amount
cats in the classes and groups. The judge can choose for a
BIV-total or separate the classes by kittens and adults,
even a separation in the kitten class is possible if there
are enough (3 at least in both classes) 3-6 and 6-10
kittens. The neuters compete for BIV-neuter. In
the examples below:
10 + = class 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. Note: the 'BIV' title cannot be
refused, if the exhibit has obtained the necessary 95 points in its
class. (see picture below) |
|
NOM |
Nomination for BIS |
in order to be nominated for Best
in Show, the adult candidate must have been awarded the title Best in
Variety. However, if the number of cats required is insufficient, the
judge can nominate a cat, which has obtained at least 97 points but was
not awarded a BIV. A judge may nominate an
adult cat for Best in Show adult even if it has been beaten by a
youngster 6-10 or kitten 3-6 months, or by another adult of the opposite
sex in the same variety provided it has obtained at least 97 points. A
judge may nominate a neuter even if it has been beaten by another neuter
of the opposite sex in the same variety, provided it has obtained at
least 97 points. |
