About our kittens

The meaning of the status of our kittens:
On hold = We haven't decided about this kitten yet, we are waiting for his/her development.
Option = Serious interest has been shown, but nothing has been decided yet.
Adopted = The kitten has found a new home.

 

* We make no decision before at least 6 weeks of age. * We do not have a queue system in which we sell the babies in a special order. * You can show your interest but we decide where we sell our babies. * We are looking for permanent loving homes for our little ones. * In case of white kittens, we make a decision after the BAER test.

We are looking forward to meet possible new owners of our kittens. Therefore you are free to visit us without obligations. We do not sell our kittens over the Internet and generally we do not keep a queuing list. If you are interested in a kitten, you can e-mail us to introduce yourself, but we prefer to meet in person before or when the kitten will leave our home. Our goal is to find the most suitable home for each kitten, based on needs, wishes, personality of both kitten and buyer and of course, on the buyer's aspirations. Before we decide to definitive sell a kitten to you we have to meet you in person and we might also ask other breeders for references / information.

When you visit us we ask you to take care of the health of our kittens. Therefore we ask you just to visit one breeder a day. Bacteria and other causes of illnesses can easily be brought from one breeder to the next. When you are ill or one of your pets at home, we ask you to inform us immediately so we can make another appointment.

 

Kittens from NL*av Verden are bred in accordance with FIFe's breeding rules.

Our kittens grow up in our family home and will be spoiled by us and our other cats. Every kitten leaves us after a lot of TLC (tender, loving care). When they are old enough they are allowed to play in the whole house. We do everything to raise them as very social, lovely tempered kittens. As we devote a lot of love, time and energy raising our kittens, we love to get pictures and reports from them in their new homes. We also think it is an important part in our breeding program to follow the development of our kittens even as grown-ups and wish new owners to agree.

 

Policies

* They are not to be declawed * They are not  allowed to roam unattended outdoors, so a secured garden and /or balcony is wanted. Our kittens are not afraid of anything and very friendly, therefore the street is a dangerous place for them. NFC like to wander off if they feel like it, no matter how well you take care of them. In some circumstances we can relax this criteria, f.e. when they go to a farm where they can live like in their natural environment. We raise our kittens to have a full happy life and not to get killed by a car or to get stolen. * Kittens sold as pet will leave our home neutered. More information about early neutering can be found on the iNFO page Please consider this before contacting us. There are no exceptions to these policies.

Our kittens leave their brothers and sisters when they are at least 13 weeks old.

We take care for:
* deworming
* vaccinations
* microchip
* a Mundikat pedigree
* a EU passport
* a health certificate from our vet

If a kitten moves abroad, we will adjust to the rules of export.
We prefer to bring our kittens into their new home as it fits our agenda .
The costs we have to make are excluded in the price of a kitten.
